Installation

Linux (Debian-based)

  1. Download the .deb package from the releases page.
  2. Install the package using dpkg: 
     sudo dpkg -i path/to/Pomodazzle.deb
  3. Run the application: The application will be available in the application menu

Windows

  1. Download the .msi installer from the releases page.
  2. Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
  3. Launch the application from the Start Menu or desktop shortcut.

Usage

Settings

  • Configure Work Time: Enter the desired work time in minutes.
  • Configure Break Time: Enter the desired break time in minutes.
  • Configure Long Break Time: Enter the desired long break time in minutes.
  • Save Settings: Click the “Save” button to save your settings.

Timer

  • Start Timer: Click the “Start” button to begin the Pomodoro timer.
  • Pause Timer: Click the “Pause” button to pause the timer.
  • Reset Timer: Click the “Reset” button to reset the timer.
  • Notifications: Visual and audio notifications will alert you when the timer ends.
  • Back to Main Screen: Click the back arrow icon to return to the main screen from the settings menu.

Troubleshooting

  • Invalid Input: Ensure that all time inputs are valid numeric values in minutes.
  • Settings Not Saving: Verify that you have write permissions to the settings file location (This error has a small probability of happening).
